The Richardson Cove is an opening to the West Bay in the archipelago of the South Orkney Islands . It is located on the southwest side of Moe Island between Conroy Point and Corral Point . It belongs to the Antarctic Specially Protected Area No. 109 .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2006 after Michael George Richardson of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (1992-2006), who as 1,970 to 1,975 biologist for the British Antarctic Survey was active, while from 1972 to 1973, the Signy Research Station conducted would have.
