Rico Wentsch (born January 13, 1994 in Calw ) is a German soccer player.

Career

Rico Wentsch played for SSV Reutlingen in his youth , and in 2010 he moved to the B-Junior Bundesliga for the U17s of 1. FC Kaiserslautern . This was followed by a change to the youth team at VfL Herrenberg, where he already played in the Württemberg regional league . In the summer of 2012, the Stuttgarter Kickers signed Wentsch for their U19s, who had just been promoted to the A-Juniors Bundesliga . Due to his good performance, he made his debut in the first team of the Stuttgarter Kickers at the WFV Cup game against SG Sonnenhof Großaspach . On October 20, 2012 in the 2-1 defeat by Wacker Burghausen , he made his professional debut when he was substituted on in the 46th minute. At the beginning of 2013, Wentsch moved to the second team at TSG 1899 Hoffenheim . In the summer of 2015 he moved to the Württemberg regional league for FC Gärtringen. After two seasons he moved to the district league for VfL Herrenberg. In summer 2020 he switched back to the regional league for TSV Trillfingen.
