Riedemann (noble family)

The Riedemann family is an aristocratic family that was accepted into the Prussian and Bavarian nobility. The family originally comes from the Emsland . In the communicant register of the parish of Holte from 1652 a Herman Rideman and a Lucas Rideman are listed in Vinnen . The Riedemann family in Vinnen is also mentioned in the status animarum of the Principality of Münster from 1749. At that time she belonged to the peasant class. On April 4, 1917, Wilhelm Anton Riedemann was raised by Kaiser Wilhelm II to the hereditary Prussian untitled nobility with the title of Riedemann . On September 13, 1918 Heinrich von Riedemann was enrolled in the aristocratic class in the Kingdom of Bavaria. The family is Roman Catholic.

The 1917 conferred, speaking of Arms ( Ried and man): In gold on schilfbewachsenem floor a growing , man dressed in black, in his right hand three Schilfkolben reserved, supported the left in the side. On the crowned helmet with black and gold covers the man of the shield grows.
