Reb's reef
Dominique Duprez alias Riff Reb’s (* 1960 in Burdeau / Algeria ) is a French comic artist .
So far he has published Le Bal de la Sueur (1985), Parole de Diable (1990) and Myrtil Mistelzweig (1992, Myrtil Fauvette ), with which he was nominated for the 1993 Max and Moritz Prize . In 2010 A Bord de l'Etoile Matutine (based on Pierre Mac Orlan ) appeared in German as An Bord der "Morgenstern" , in 2013 Le Loup des Mers (based on Jack London ), in German as Der Seewolf .
With its dynamic graphics, Riff Reb's co-founded a new school of comic artists. From 2003 to 2005 he was a lecturer at the Franco-German comic book drawing seminar in Erlangen , organized by the city of Erlangen and agent Paul Derouet , and drew the cover of the album DéJà-Vu ( JNK-Verlag ) especially for the 20th anniversary of the seminar .
Today Dominique Duprez lives with his family in Le Havre , France.
