The San Marino Communist Re-establishment ( Italian : Rifondazione Comunista Sammarinese , RCS) was a communist party in San Marino . She was a full member of the Party of the European Left at European level .

It was founded in 1991 after the Communist Party of San Marino (PCS) renounced communism and changed the party name to Partito Progressista Democratico Sammarinese (PPDS). The PPDS later renamed itself Partito dei Democratici . The RCS has since kept the communist program of the faded PCS.

Before the election on June 4, 2006, the RCS entered into an electoral alliance with the independent left party Zona Franca ; as Sinistra Unita , the alliance received 8.67% of the vote and five out of sixty seats.
