The Rifugio Al Legn is a refuge in the Ticino municipality of Brissago .
description
It is located at the foot of the Gridone border mountain on a natural terrace near Alp Arolgia at an altitude of 1804 m with a view of Lake Maggiore .
The hut can be reached on foot within two hours from the end of the road that leads from Brissago (197 m above sea level) to the hamlet of Mergugno (1,060 m above sea level). The summit of the Gridone (2,188 m above sea level) can be reached from the hut in a one-hour hike (T3).
