The Right Whale Bay is a 2.5 km wide bay on the north coast of South Georgia . It lies between the headlands of Craigie Point and Nameless Point .
The name of the bay, which dates back to at least 1922, is established. Names refer to are whales the genus Eubalaena ( English right whale ), and here especially the non-South Georgia Südkaper ( Eubalaena australis ).
