Rigusker
The Rigusker or Rugusker ( latin Rigusci, Rugusci; ancient Greek Ριγοῦσκαι Rhigouskai ) were a Raetian tribe in Rätien . They are located either in the Oberhalbstein or the Upper Engadin .
In the year 15 BC The Riguscans were subjugated by Tiberius during the Alpine campaign and listed as one of the 45 defeated Alpine peoples in the Tropaeum Alpium . Pliny the Elder also refers to this event . They are also mentioned in the geography of Ptolemy , who names them in Raetia alongside the Suanetes , Kalukonen and Vennontern .
