Riikka Tiilikainen (born October 9, 1990 in Porvoo ) is a Finnish volleyball player .

Career

Tiilikainen started her career in her hometown at Porvoon NMKY. In 2006 she moved to the Vanajan Racing Club in Hämeenlinna . With the club, the diagonal attacker won the Finnish championship in 2007 and 2008. At the same time, she trained with the Finnish national youth team in Tampere during this time . Tiilikainen is now part of the senior national team in her country. In 2013 she was signed by the German Bundesliga club VT Aurubis Hamburg . With Hamburg she played in the European Challenge Cup and reached the third round. In the Bundesliga season , however, the club lost all games. Tiilikainen then ended her active career and now works as a scout for Aurubis Hamburg.
