Riley O'Neill (born September 9, 1985 in Vancouver ) is a Canadian football player .

Career

Riley O'Neill started playing soccer at Timberline High School. In 2003 he moved to the University of Kentucky . After college, he was selected by the Vancouver Whitecaps 10th in the USL-1 College Draft and 36th by the Colorado Rapids in the 2007 MLS Supplemental Draft . The Colorado Rapids later ceded their rights to Toronto FC , but O'Neill has so far not played for any of the North American teams.

In 2007 he came to Germany to do a trial training at FC St. Pauli . There he was no longer obliged to join the SV Wilhelmshaven . After one and a half years in the Jade City, he moved to the third division club Eintracht Braunschweig . There he could not assert himself, so he returned to Wilhelmshaven.

At the beginning of the 2011 season he moved to Myllykosken Pallo -47 .

In April 2013 O'Neill moved to Victoria Highlanders FC .

In 2005 he took part with the Canadian U-20 selection in the Junior World Championship in the Netherlands and came out to two missions in their preliminary round.
