Rimma Pavlovna Shpakova

Rimma Pavlovna Schpakowa ( Russian Римма Павловна Шпакова ; born October 17, 1939 in Leningrad ; † June 29, 2006 ) was a Russian sociologist.

She graduated from the philosophy faculty of the university in her hometown. She later taught there (since 1987 as a professor) and, among other things, excelled in the field of reception and discussion of classical and contemporary German sociology . She has published a total of over 200 scientific papers and held a visiting professorship at the University of Hamburg in the 1990s .
