Rimutis Klevečka

Rimutis Klevečka (born January 10, 1956 in Krasnoyarsk ) is a Lithuanian diplomat and ambassador .

Life

After graduating from the Juozas-Balčikonis-Gymnasium in Panevėžys in 1974 , he graduated from the mathematics faculty of the Vilniaus universitetas in 1979 . From 1979 to 1990 he headed a sector at the Electrography Research Institute . From 1990 to 1991 he worked at the Lithuanian Ministry of Industry and Commerce and from 1991 to 1994 at the Lithuanian Ministry of Economy . From 2002 to 2003 he was Deputy Director and from 2003 to 2008 he was General Director of Muitinės departamentas at the Ministry of Finance (Lithuania) . From 2008 to 2012 Klevečka was the Lithuanian ambassador to Slovenia .
