Rina Franchetti

Rina Franchetti (actually Ester Girgenti ; born December 23, 1907 in Naples , † August 18, 2010 in Formello ) was an Italian actress .

Short biography

Franchetti was initially successful as a stage actress in the ensembles of Lamberto Picasso and Luigi Pirandello and appeared in Shakespeare and Chekhov plays. In 1932 she made her first film and returned to this medium again and again in 55 films over the next almost 60 years. She was also featured in many radio productions of radio plays . Her daughter Sara Franchetti is also an actress.
