Rina Nabeshima ( Japanese 鍋 島 莉奈 , Nabeshima Rina ; born December 16, 1993 ) is a Japanese athlete who specializes in long-distance running.

Athletic career

Rina Nabeshima gained her first international experience at the World Championships in London 2017, where she was eliminated in the first round of the 5000 meter run with 15: 11.83 minutes . The following year she took part for the first time in the Asian Games in Jakarta , where she finished fourth in 15: 40.37 minutes.

In 2017 and 2018 Nabeshima became the Japanese champion over 5000 meters. She graduated from the National Institute of Fitness and Sports in Kanoya .
