The Rinspeed Senso is a concept vehicle from the Zumikon- based company Rinspeed . The car was presented at the Geneva Motor Show in 2005 and developed with what was then Bayer MaterialScience . The special thing about the car is that it perceives the driver's feelings and responds to them.

The environmentally friendly, natural gas powered car, which with its 250 hp reaches a top speed of 250 km / h, uses numerous electronic sensors to sense the driver's emotional state. The pilot's pulse rate is determined by a biometric polar watch, and his driving behavior is recorded by a special “Mobile Eye” camera. With these two “findings” from the car to the driver, a computer evaluates the data and bathes the cockpit in a light that corresponds to the mood, which is intended to relax the driver.

In addition to the color stimuli, the music and smells in the vehicle are also tailored to the driver.
