Beef ribs (roast beef)

The back of slaughtered animals such as pork , beef , veal and lamb , which is located between the neck and the back of the leg , is referred to as the rib , back , carbonade , square or chop strand (only for pigs) . Chops and schnitzel , salmon and steaks are mainly made from the rib . For loin includes the pork and the tenderloin .

In beef, rib is synonymous with roast beef .
