Risa Shinnabe ( Japanese 新 鍋 理 沙 , Shinnabe Risa ; born July 11, 1990 in Kirishima ) is a Japanese volleyball player . She won the bronze medal at the 2012 Olympics .

Career

Shinnabe began her career at Kanoya-chuo High School and later played on the Nobeoka Gakuen High School team. In 2009 she came to what is now her association, Hisamitsu Springs . In 2011, the outside attacker made her debut in the Japanese national team , with whom she finished second at the Asian Cup in the same year . In 2012 she took part in the Summer Olympics in London and won the bronze medal.
