Christian Job (born January 15, 1967 in Zweibrücken ) is a German author , radio and TV presenter .

Life

During his student days at the Hofenfelsgymnasium in Zweibrücken, Job played in the theater group, sang in the choir and was the drummer in a dance band. School radio via cassettes and moderation on hospital radio were early attempts in the radio medium. After graduating from high school in 1986, he made his first professional experience as a regular soldier at the federal radio station Radio Andernach . When he started studying German and political science at Saarland University in 1988, Job began working for Saarland Broadcasting Corporation . Sports editorial work in radio and television, later music and cultural journalism at SR 1 Europawelle Saar, regular assignments also as reporter and moderator. After completing his studies and volunteering at SR, Job was part of the permanent team of moderators at Europawelle from 1996 to 2007 and could be heard in all formats from the morning show through to the evening.

Since 2007 she has been working at the microphone at SR 3 Saarlandwelle . Mostly in the programs of the kiosk and oldies evening , occasionally also in the evening or during the colorful radio minutes . As an author, Job was involved in the development of several radio comedy formats, with Die Jäger aus Kurpfalz he had his own series for several years. Since 2013 Job has been moderating the "Flea Market" on SR television , where he was, among other things, an external reporter for the program WimS (Wir im Saarland).

As an animation fan, Job is an expert on Disney topics and is passionate about musicals . With the program “Curtain up”, he presents one of the few radio programs in German-speaking countries that specializes in film and musical hits. In 2010 the program was proposed for the German Radio Prize in the category 'Best Music Show '.

Job is married and lives with his wife and son in the Saar-Palatinate district .
