Rise to Fall is a Spanish melodic death metal band from Bilbao that was formed in mid-2006.
history
In 2009, Rise to Fall won the 21st Villa de Bilbao music competition . On July 8th 2010 Rise to Fall performed at the rock and pop festival Bilbao BBK Live . In early 2011 Rise to Fall was on tour with the bands Destrage , Blood Stain Child and Death I Am in Japan ( Nagoya , Osaka , Tokyo ) to present the album Restore the Balance . Instead, the album was released with two more tracks for Japan.
The band released several albums. The album Restore the Balance was released in 2010, followed on April 9, 2012 by the album Defying the Gods . The album Defying the Gods was mixed, mastered and produced by Ettore Rigotti. Rigotti founded the Italian melodic death metal band Disarmonia Mundi in early 2000 .
In 2012 Rise to Fall was featured on the compilation Princess Ghibli II - Imaginary Flying Machines with the song Kaze No Tani No Nausicaa ( Nausicaä from the Valley of the Wind ) with Sophia Aslanidou (then singer of the band Blood Stain Child). The band members are fans of the animation studio Studio Ghibli , who are responsible for the film Nausicaä from the Valley of the Winds . That's how the song came about.
