Rita Jaeger

Rita Jaeger (born January 3, 1935 in Gliwice ) was an internationally known German model in the 1960s .

After fleeing and being expelled, she came to West Germany completely penniless at the end of the Second World War and moved to Stuttgart with her family in 1951 . There, at the age of 16, she was discovered in a contest by Walter E. Lautenbacher and engaged for her first fashion and advertising photos. This was the beginning of an international career as a photo model in the 1960s.

After the end of her active modeling career, Rita Jaeger founded a modeling agency in Stuttgart, which she managed for over 30 years. She has lived in Stuttgart since her retirement .
