Rita Wandrey

Rita Wandrey (born October 13, 1938 ) is a former German basketball player .

Life

Wandrey, who plays at the club level at the Berlin TSC , has been appointed to the national team of the German Democratic Republic a total of 61 times . In 1966 she won the bronze medal at the European Championships in Romania . She also took part in the European Championship in 1968. Wandrey, who worked as a sports teacher in Berlin, was awarded the " Master of Sports " award.
