The Ritchie Point is a headland in East Antarctic Mac Robertson Land . It lies at the end of a large and flat massif that extends north from the Amery Peaks in the Prince Charles Mountains .
Aerial photographs taken in 1956 and 1960 as part of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions were used to map them. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named the headland after Frederick James Ritchie, a cook at Mawson Station in 1965.
