The manor Groß Bartensleben is a listed manor in the village of Groß Bartensleben, which belongs to the municipality of Erxleben in Saxony-Anhalt .

The building complex is located north of Bartensleben Castle and represents the center of the village. It takes up more than half of the area.

Architecture and history

The structures of the complex that have been preserved today essentially date from the late 19th century. Originally the manor was completely surrounded by a wall. It was one of the largest estates in the region. During the time of the GDR , conversions took place in the course of continued agricultural use. The property includes two barns, three cowsheds, residential houses for workers and an administrator's house from 1765 at the address Auf dem Gutshof 10 . There are also additional outbuildings.

The farm is considered typical of the structure and function of manors in the 19th century and is relevant to social and cultural history.

In the local register of monuments , the manor is registered as a monument under registration number 094 84153 .
