Minsleben manor
The Minsleben manor is a former manor in the Minsleben district of the city of Wernigerode in Saxony-Anhalt . It is a listed building as a monument.
history
The baroque castle-like main building was built in 1724 on the site of a medieval predecessor building, which was the seat of a noble family that can be traced back to at least the 13th century and which is now extinct. Several noble families sat on the Minsleben manor, including the Reiffensteins , until it was temporarily used as the domain of the Counts of Stolberg-Wernigerode. Today it is used for residential purposes. The manor park in the style of an English landscape park adjoins the manor house in a westerly direction.
