Riva Celso

Riva Celso (* 1974 ) is an Italian independent video game designer of various games such as The Goalkeeper , Universal Boxing Manager , Magic Stones , the Heileen series and Bionic Heart . He is the founder of Winter Wolves and Tycoon Games .

life and career

At the age of 20, Celso began his career as a designer of small games for the Italian market. He took a 7 year hiatus until 2003 when he discovered the shareware distribution model and created the sports management video game Universal Soccer Manager with Blitz Basic .

He then switched to the programming languages C and C ++ and published 10 more games under the Winter Wolves label. He then founded a new company, Tycoon Games , under which he has published 6 games to date: The space war game Supernova 2: Spacewar , the Dating Sim Summer Session , the visual novels Heileen and Bionic Heart , College Romance: Rise Of The Little Brother , and Spirited Heart . For the games Summer Session and Heileen , he used Python with the Ren'Py program .

The stories of The Flower Shop and The Flower Shop: Winter in Fairbrook were written by Ayu Sakata from sakevisual . Celso is currently working on Planet Stronghold 2 , Spirited Heart 2 and a sequel to Loren The Amazon Princess . An otome game called Queen Of Thieves and the RPG Undead Lily are also in production. He is also planning a dating sim with exclusively homosexual love affairs; the Yuri game Summer in Trigue .

In 2004 his games The Goalkeeper and Universal Boxing Manager were nominated for the top 5 sports games of the year by the online magazine Gametunnel .
