The Riverside Geyser is a geyser in Yellowstone National Park in the US state of Wyoming .

The geyser is located on the Firehole River in the Upper Geyser Basin and shoots water vapor and water up to 23 m high in an arc over the river. The eruption occurs every 5½ – 6½ hours and lasts about 20 minutes. It is announced about one to two hours in advance, as water is already flowing out of the geyser. The geyser was named during the Hayden expedition in 1871 .
