Rob Harvey (special effects artist)
Robert "Rob" John Harvey (* July 1964 ) is a British special effects artist , the 2001 Gladiator the Oscar in the category Best Visual Effects received.
Life
He studied at the University of California and then quickly became a sought-after flame artist. His first job in visual effects was for Mill Film . There he was in the film Still Crazy involved and received in 2001 for Gladiator the Oscar in the category Best Visual Effects .
In 2000 he founded together with Graham Andrew , a colleague of Mill film , the company Lola Post Production . In the following years he was involved with his company in films such as Troy and Clash of the Titans and in series such as The Bible .
