Robert Baker (as Bob A. Baker ; born May 18, 1940 in California , United States , † April 14, 1993 in Los Angeles ) was an American actor .

Robert Baker was a student and good friend of Bruce Lee who taught him Jeet Kune Do. Baker became known for the role of the Russian Petrov in the film Greetings from Shanghai , where he fought against Bruce Lee. Baker also made a small appearance in Lee's next film, The Death Claw Strikes Again . Baker also worked as a stuntman in both films .

Baker also played a role in the film Valley of the Double Dragon . Baker also appeared in several documentaries about the life and career of Bruce Lee.

Baker died on April 14, 1993 in Los Angeles at the age of 52 years to cancer .
