Robert Gabriel Louis Marie Doutrebente (born December 1, 1893 in Blois , † June 4, 1979 in Tours ) was a French racing car driver and aviator in the First World War .

Career

After his time as a member of the Aéronautique Militaire , Robert Doutrebente was once active as a racing driver. At the third Le Mans 24-hour race in motorsport history in 1925 , he and his partner Louis Balart competed in a Corre-La Licorne W15. After a 24-hour drive, the duo crossed the finish line in eighth place overall. This placement meant victory in the class for vehicles between 1.1 and 1.5 liter displacement.
