Robert Gnehm
Robert Gnehm (born August 21, 1852 in Stein am Rhein , † June 4, 1926 in Zurich ) was a Swiss chemist .
Robert Gnehm studied chemistry at the Eidgenössisches Polytechnikum Zürich and then became Emil Kopp's assistant . After some time as a representative for the late Kopp, he worked in the economy. From 1894 to 1904 he was a professor at the Zurich Polytechnic and played a key role in the reconstruction of the ETH Zurich . His daughter Marie Gnehm founded the Robert Gnehm Foundation after his death.
