Robert Gold

Robert Gold (born September 26, 1970 in East Berlin ) is a German film producer , writer and screenwriter .

Life

Robert Gold studied from 1992 to 1997 social and business communication at the Berlin University of the Arts (then Berlin University of the Arts) with a focus on writing; At the same time he gained practical experience in film. After completing his studies, he founded the film production company BIGFISH in 1998 , which in the following years became one of the most important production companies for music videos and commercials. In 2008 the film production company Bittersuess Pictures was founded , whose first feature film Shahada (director: Burhan Qurbani ) was featured in the competition at the Berlinale 2010 and at other festivals. In 2012, Gold left his company to pursue new projects. He then worked as a creative producer for the NDR series Der Tatortreiniger with Bjarne Mädel and published his debut novel Flieg ich durch die Welt in 2016 by Eulenspiegel Verlag . He is represented as a screenwriter by the Felix Bloch Erben Agency. Robert Gold lives in Prenzlauer Berg, Berlin.
