Robert Gourdon (born February 22, 1914 in Vauvert , † July 8, 1979 ibid) was a French politician. From 1948 to 1958 he was a member of the National Assembly .

Gourdon studied law and worked as a lawyer in Nîmes . In 1935 he joined the youth organization of the SFIO and in 1945 was elected mayor of his hometown Vauvert. After Paul Béchard left the National Assembly in 1948 to take up his post as Governor General of French West Africa , Gourdon applied for the vacant mandate. He entered the National Assembly for the Gard department and was re-elected in 1951. He made a name for himself as a representative of the interests of farmers and winemakers. While he was able to defend his mandate in the 1956 elections, he was unsuccessful in 1958 due to re-election. In the same year, however, he entered the General Council of the Gard department, and was elected President in 1973. In 1962, 1967 and 1968 he ran unsuccessfully for the National Assembly. He remained mayor of Vauvert until he died in a car accident in 1979.
