Robert Griess (cabaret artist)

Robert Griess (* 1966 ) is a German cabaret artist and author from Cologne .

Live and act

After graduating from high school, Robert Griess studied theater, film and television studies at the Ruhr University in Bochum , formed a cabaret group with several like-minded people and finally continued to work as a soloist. He wrote for the children's television program Käptn Blaubär and texts for cabaret artists such as Dieter Hallervorden and Simone Solga . In 2006 he established the slaughter plate final accounting , an annual review.

Since 2010 he has been the artistic director of the Cologne Festival for Political Cabaret . Griess tours Germany with his program Is it still possible . He represents the figure of the Cologne proletarian Stapper and the left-wing humanities scholar Schober .

Griess has two children.
