Robert Half is a publicly traded personnel services company based in the United States, whose shares are part of the S&P 500 index. The company has more than 400 branches worldwide for the placement and leasing of workers, mainly in the areas of finance and accounting (Robert Half Finance & Accounting), technology (Robert Half Technology), interim management (Robert Half Management Ressources) and office and assistance areas (Robert Half Office Team).

history

Robert Half founded the company in California in 1948 . After it was founded, the company established itself as a franchisor throughout the USA. In 1986 the company was bought by a group of investors around Max Messmer . The franchise companies were then reintegrated directly into the company. Robert Half International is headed today by entrepreneur Harold M. 'Max' Messmer Jr. Max Messmer is the company's second CEO after Robert Half.

Corporate structure

The company consists of different divisions: Robert Half Finance & Accounting, Robert Half Financial Services Group, Robert Half Management Resources, Robert Half Technology, OfficeTeam, Protiviti, Robert Half Legal and The Creative Group.

The turnover of RHI amounts to (2015) to 5.094 billion US dollars (1986: 7 million US dollars). Net income in 2012 is $ 357.8 million.

In Germany it is divided into the following business areas:

  • Robert Half Finance & Accounting: This division specializes in recruiting people for finance and accounting.
  • Robert Half Management Resources: Placement of interim managers who e.g. B. are familiar with compliance, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions or the optimization of corporate processes.
  • Robert Half Financial Services: Robert Half Financial Services takes care of the placement of people in the banking, insurance and financial services sectors in permanent positions.

Robert Half Deutschland GmbH & Co KG is the company's German representative and is led by Stephen M. Hilton.
