Robert II. De La Marck (* 1468 ; † late November 1536 ) was governor of Bouillon and lord of Sedan .

Life

Robert II was born the son of Robert I de La Mark and nephew of Count Wilhelm von der Mark .

He occurred under Louis XII. joined the French army and took part in the battle of Novara in 1513 . Later he came to Charles V on. He was reconciled with France and invaded Luxembourg in 1524 , but was driven out by the imperial army after the battle of Pavia and did not regain his lands until 1526.

He died at the end of November 1536. He was succeeded by his son Robert III. on.

Erard de La Marck , the Cardinal of Bouillon , was his brother.

In 1491 he married Catherine de Croÿ, daughter of Philippe I. de Croÿ, comte de Chimay . The couple had three sons together, including:
