Robert J. Steinmiller junior (born July 29, 1978 in Pittsburgh , Pennsylvania ) is an American actor.

Steinmiller was born in Pittsburgh to Stephanie, who worked for the city government, and Robert J. Steinmiller Sr., who ran a tire shop. Robert grew up in Schaumburg , Illinois. He started his acting career in 1989 in the theater production Les Misérables . Robert was also discovered for films in the early 1990s and played the leading roles in My Father - My Friend (for this role he received a nomination for the Young Artist Award ), Bingo - Look who's barking! , Touchdown - His goal is to win and No Panic - Good hostages are rare . He has appeared in commercials for McDonald’s several times on television and made a guest appearance on the American series The Untouchables .

In 2001 Robert returned to the stage after a break in Damn Yankees, at the Madrid Theater in Los Angeles . Earlier, he played Hugo Peabody in Bye Bye Birdie at the Madrid Theater.

His sister Jessica was also an actress.
