Bingo - look who's barking! is an American family comedy directed by Matthew Robbins from 1991 .
Summary
The Border Collie Bingo runs away from the circus and saves the life of Chucky, a boy who is an outsider in his family. The two become good friends very quickly; they go skateboarding together, they play pinball, and they do homework together. At some point, Chuckie's parents discover the dog and are not enthusiastic about him. When Chuckie's father is sold - he's a football player - and a move approaches, the friendship threatens to break because bingo is not allowed to come along. But bingo follows the Devlins for several thousand kilometers and experiences many adventures in the process.
In the end, Chucky and Bingo are reunited when they are both held captive in a factory floor. To make matters worse, a bomb is ticking not far from them. But bingo turns out to be a hero again and saves Chuckie's life again. After bingo saved the boy's life for the second time, his father allows him to keep the dog.
