Suzie Plakson (actually Susan Plaksin ; born June 3, 1958 in Buffalo , New York ) is an American actress .

Life

Plakson was born Susan Plaksin in Buffalo in 1958 . She grew up in Pennsylvania and later attended Northwestern University . She began her career in the theater. She later also took on roles in television series such as Love & War and The Dinos . Plakson has played various roles in several Star Trek series, including Starship Enterprise - The Next Century (as Vulcan Lt. Selar and Klingon K'Ehleyr) and Star Trek: Starship Voyager (female Q) and in Star Trek: Enterprise (as Tarah). She achieved great fame especially in the role of Judy Eriksen in How I Met Your Mother .
