Robert Mackrodt

Robert Mackrodt (born July 3, 1847 in Etzleben ; † in the 20th century) was a German classical philologist and high school teacher .

Robert Mackrodt attended high school in Eisleben and studied at the Universities of Göttingen and Leipzig . After participating in the war in 1870/71, he became a teacher at the Ducal Institute in Altenburg . From Easter 1873 he worked as a teacher at the Herzoglichen Gymnasium Christianeum in Eisenberg (Thuringia) .

He wrote articles for Wilhelm Heinrich Roscher's Detailed Lexicon of Greek and Roman Mythology and dealt with local history.
