Robert Markowitz

Robert Markowitz (born February 7, 1935 in Irvington , New Jersey ) is an American film and television director.

Career

He has made a number of television films, including The Phantom of Budapest (1983). Much Too Young To Die (1990), The Purple Heart - The Hero's Hour (1990), I Fight For My Child (1994) The Honor To Fly (1995), The Great Gatsby (2000), Dangerous Double Life - The Pilot's Wife (2003), Word of Honor (2003), Avenger (2006) and others.

He also made episodes of Delvecchio , Serpico and the anthology series Incredible Stories . His last film was the television film for TNT Avenger (2006), starring Sam Elliott and Timothy Hutton .
