Robert Mayer (basketball official)

Robert Mayer (born October 3, 1966 ) is a German basketball official .

Life

Born in Krofdorf-Gleiberg , Mayer studied business administration and from 1992 worked for the basketball Bundesliga club MTV 1846 Gießen . Until 1998 he steered the team as managing director of the operating company Gispo-Sportmarketing GmbH. In the summer of 1998 he moved to the Bundesliga competitor Alba Berlin as a manager . He then became the managing director and authorized signatory of the operating company Alba Berlin Basketballteam GmbH.
