Robert Nuessle

Robert Nüßle (* 1987 ) is a former German swimming athlete . In 2012 he was German champion in the 800 meter freestyle on the 25-meter track.

successes

At the German Short Course Championships in 2012 in the Wuppertal Swimming Opera, he mastered the 800 m as the winner in 7: 49.50 minutes. At the same event he was third over 1500 m in 14: 54.91 (winner Sören Meißner , 14: 51.67) and seventh over 400 m.

A year earlier at the German Open Water Swimming Championships in Rostock, the 10 km starter for SSC Erfurt finished second in 1: 59.10 behind Christian Reichert (1: 56: 09.37) from Würzburg .

Further successes at the 2013 German Swimming Championships were two third places over 800 and over 1500 m. Sören Meißner from SV Würzburg 05 was again successful over 800 m in 7: 55.63 ahead of Martin Grodzki from SSC Berlin-Reinickendorf (7: 58.63) and Nüßle (8: 03.18); Meißner won over 1500 m in 15: 12.72 ahead of Grodzki (15: 22.80) and Nüßle (15: 25.92).

End of career

Due to differences of opinion with DSV -Oberen, Nüßle announced his retirement from competitive sports in October 2013.
