Christian Martin Reichert (born February 7, 1985 in Würzburg ) is a German open water swimmer. He starts for SC Wiesbaden in 1911 .

Career

Reichert began his swimming career at SV Würzburg 05. Since 2005 he has been a member of the sports promotion group of the Hessian police , with the rank of chief police officer . He celebrated his greatest success so far at the 2013 World Championships in Barcelona when he won the gold medal in the 5 km team race together with Thomas Lurz and Isabelle Härle . His trainer is Stefan Lurz .

Christian Reichert has been married to open water swimmer Nadine Reichert since August 22, 2009 . The couple has one child.
