Robert Tear (* 4. June 1955 in Weißwasser / Oberlausitz ) is a former German football player in the defense . He played for BSG Energie Cottbus in the GDR league .

Career

Reiss played in his youth from 1961 to 1973 for the BSG Lokomotive Runde. He then moved to BSG Energie Cottbus. Only a year later he came in the 1974/75 season on September 8, 1974 in the second-rate GDR league in a 1-1 draw against the BSG activist Black Pump . This was followed by 20 more missions in the season in which he scored four goals. After promotion to the league, he was substituted on for the first time on the 6th matchday against 1. FC Magdeburg . However, reiss could not prevail and only completed four more games in the league. The direct relegation followed. In the 1977/78 season, Reiß came to only three games. In the following seasons he was almost always part of the team. After rising again in 1981, he completed all 26 games and scored three goals. Nevertheless, the descent could not be prevented. In 1984, Reiß switched to BSG Lokomotive Cottbus for one season before returning to Energie Cottbus. He completed 34 games in the GDR league and 15 in the major league before he went to BSG Chemie Döbern in 1987 . There he remained as a player- coach until 1998. Then, Reiss pursued a coaching career with lower-class teams.
