In the 1974/75 season , BSG Chemie Leipzig and BSG Energie Cottbus were immediately promoted back to the GDR league .

- ↑ In the game Chemie Buna Schkopau - Lokomotive Leipzig-Ost 3-0 (9th matchday), the referee Peter Sparwasser ( Halberstadt ) had rejected players from the game because, in his opinion, they were not properly authorized to play. The protest put in by Leipzig-Ost was approved by the DFV's legal commission , as these players had valid playing rights. The game was rescheduled and ended 3-0 again for Buna Schkopau.
