Wolfgang Feige (born August 27, 1949 ) was a football player in the GDR . For Hansa Rostock he played briefly in 1977 in the Oberliga , the top soccer class of the GDR soccer association .

Feige completed a three-year military service with the National People's Army of the GDR from 1972 to 1975 . During this time he played for the army sports community Vorwärts Neubrandenburg in the second-rate GDR league football. In the seasons 1973/74 and 1974/75 he was the most successful goalscorer of his team with eleven and fifteen goals.

After his discharge from the army, Feige joined the league relegated Hansa Rostock in November 1975. After several unsuccessful attempts, they were still looking for a replacement for center forward Joachim Streich who had migrated to 1. FC Magdeburg . On the 10th GDR League game day, November 15, 1975, Feige was used in the encounter unit Güstrow - FC Hansa (1: 1) as a center forward for the first time. In this position Feige played ten point games in uninterrupted order before he was replaced by Rainer Jarohs . Feige scored five goals in these games. At the end of the season, Hansa had achieved promotion. In the following season 1976/77 Feige played initially only in the junior league team. Only when the striker Gerhard Krentz failed at the beginning of the second half of the season, Feige returned to the first team and had his first league appearance on February 19, 1977 in the game Wismut Aue - FC Hansa (0-0) as a left winger. He played five league games in a row in changing positions, including in midfield, but remained without a goal. He was then replaced by the young Bernd Köhler and returned to the junior team.

After the end of the 1976/77 season Feige was delegated to FC Hansa, and he joined the GDR league club TSG Bau Rostock . Here he was initially used alternately in midfield and in attack, from 1981 he was in defense. In 1984 Feige ended his career as a competitive athlete at the age of 34 after playing 142 point games within seven seasons for TSG Bau and thus achieving a record of 88 percent of all championship games.
