Lutz-Michael Häder (born July 6, 1947 in Groß Ottersleben , Magdeburg ) is a former German football player in full defense and defensive midfield . He played for ASG Vorwärts Stralsund and BSG Energie Cottbus in the GDR league .

Career

In his youth, Häder played for his home club BSG Traktor Süd-West Magdeburg. In 1965 he was signed by SC Magdeburg and Häder stayed there until 1967. He then went to Berlin for FC Vorwärts , which played successfully in the major league; however, Häder did not come to any league use. In 1971 he moved to league competitor ASG Vorwärts Stralsund . On October 2, 1971, Häder made his debut in the league when he came on as a substitute for Klaus Marowski on matchday 5 against 1. FC Union Berlin in the 79th minute . His first goal was on January 22, 1972 (16th matchday) against BSG Stahl Riesa in the 11th minute of the game. Overall, he came in the Oberliga season 1971/72 on 22 missions, but could not prevent relegation to the second-rate GDR league. After a season in the GDR league, Häder was committed to the upper division BSG Energie Cottbus in 1973. In the 1973/74 season he played 22 times, but was relegated to Cottbus. During the season he made it to the semi-finals of the FDGB Cup with Cottbus , which they lost to FC Carl Zeiss Jena . In the GDR league 1974/75 he scored three goals in 22 games and was promoted again with his team. In 1975/76 , Häder was used 19 times. After the season and relegation to the second division, he no longer played for the first team and ended his career in 1978.
