GDR soccer league 1955

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The 1955 season was the sixth season of the GDR league . It was a transitional round, as the championship from 1956 was aligned with the calendar year based on the Soviet model and therefore the time between the end of the 1954/55 season in summer 1955 and the beginning of the 1956 season in spring should be bridged. There were only 13 game days played in which neither an official champion or promoted nor relegated was determined. Progress Meerane won the transition round .
