Robert Schumann Prize for Poetry and Music

The Robert Schumann Prize for Poetry and Music has been awarded every two years by the Academy of Sciences and Literature in Mainz since 2012 to “personalities for an outstanding life's work in the field of poetry and music” (as well as music education). The prize, named after the German composer Robert Schumann and endowed with 15,000 euros (as of 2020), was donated by the Mainz Strecker Foundation.
