Robert Taylor (athlete, 1953)

Robert Taylor (born April 29, 1953 ) is a former American sprinter who specialized in the 400-meter run .

In 1975 he won the Pan American Games in Mexico City in the 4 x 400 meter relay and in 1977 at the Athletics World Cup in Düsseldorf over 400 m.

In 1977 he became US champion.

He set his personal best of 45.11 s on June 12, 1976 in Westwood .
